Water relaxation

quaCity Poprad is a world of fun, relaxation and rest. The aquapark has 13 outdoor and indoor thermal pools with water at 28°C to 38°C, water slides and more than 350 water attractions. The water in AquaCity comes from a natural underground source and is piped into the complex. A technological process cools it from 50°C to 36–38°C. The pools have stainless steel surfaces to minimise the need for chlorine, and UV radiation is used for disinfection, which is gentle on skin and eyes. The water in the thermal pools rises from a depth of 1,300 m and contains more than 20 different minerals with beneficial effects on health. It helps with problems of the musculoskeletal and respiratory systems, blood circulation and the nervous system, and also has cosmetic benefits.
